AWS Education Equity Initiative

Empowering organizations to create digital learning solutions for underserved learners globally.

Expanding access and opportunity

The AWS Education Equity Initiative is a $100 million commitment of AWS technology to support organizations that build and scale innovative digital learning solutions with cloud and AI.

Benefits

Turn learning ideas into reality with access to AWS cloud technology, AI services, and technical guidance.

Apply for AWS credits to build education solutions using AWS cloud, data, and AI technology. Organizations leverage AWS services to create innovative digital learning experiences, chatbots, AI-powered tutors, and more.

If you're an existing AWS customer, please alert your Account Manager that you are seeking technical support and they will let us know. If you're new to AWS, we will contact and support eligible organizations with technical enablement to help you build and scale your digital learning solution. Please note, this is only in the form of advice, guidance, and demos. We do not offer any practical development, building, or production of solutions.

Awardees are asked to complete milestone-based surveys to help us understand reach, impact, and areas of potential improvement. Opportunities for exposure include AWS blogs, customer case studies, and participation in AWS Summits and industry events.

Build and scale digital learning solutions

"Thanks to Amazon Bedrock, AWS’s service to build and scale generative AI innovations, and the AWS solutions team, Code.org built an AI Teaching Assistant that has helped teachers increase their confidence when teaching computer science, and reduces the time they spend assessing students' coding projects by up to 50%. Empowerment and efficiency mean more time for teachers to do their most important work—working with their students."

- Karim Meghji, Chief Product Officer, Code.org
